What is Open and Closed on the Holidays around Norristown

Here is a round-up of what will be open and closed on Christmas and Christmas Eve around Norristown:

Government: Norristown borough offices in Municipal Hall and Montgomery County government offices will be closed on Dec. 25.

Schools: Norristown Area School District schools will be closed both days. St. Francis of Assisi School & ELC will be closed both days. Penn Christian Academy will be closed both days.

Courts: the Montgomery County Court House will be closed on Dec. 25.

Libraries: Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library will be closed both days.

PennDOT Drivers License Centers: the PennDOT centers will be closed on Dec. 25.

Banks: banks may close early on Dec. 24 and will be closed on Dec. 25.

Mail: USPS post offices will be open on Dec. 24 but may close early. They will be closed Dec. 25.

Liquor Stores: According to the PA Liquor Control Board website, Wine & Spirits stores will closed on Dec. 25.

Zoos: The Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown and the Philadelphia Zoo in Philadelphia are closed both days.
