Renaissance Academy Class of 2014 Graduates with Eyes on the Future

PHOENIXVILLE, PA – Last night, forty-eight seniors graduated from the Renaissance Academy Charter School.  The ceremony was held at 7:00 pm, at the Valley Forge Christian College Flower Chapel, Phoenixville, PA.

The keynote speaker was Amanda (Cook) Smith, who ten years ago in 2005, graduated from Renaissance Academy as a member of the first graduating class.  Mrs. Smith attended Temple University and graduated in 2009 with a B.A. in Advertising.  Mrs. Smith spoke to the graduating class about the importance of staying focused in life and to keep working hard to achieve your dreams.  “It is critical to never let go of your dreams and ambitions.”  She went on to say, “Some of the most difficult and trying times may lead to some of your most amazing memories. Along the way, you may even discover a new, better and more enjoyable road that will take you to where you are headed. Embrace it all with enthusiasm, excitement, and vigor.”

Also speaking at the ceremony was Ann Marie Crabb, 2014 Valedictorian and named one of ABC’s “Best of Class”; as well as 2014 Salutatorian, Aneri Bakshi.  In the fall, Miss Crabb will be attending Temple University on a full scholarship with an extra $48,000 stipend to study abroad and Miss Bakshi will attend Penn State University to study biomedical engineering.  Both Miss Crabb and Miss Bakshi have attended Renaissance Academy their entire academic careers, kindergarten through 12th grade.
