Dr. Albert L. Pizzica, 65, was born in Norristown and died in his Wayne, Pa. home on Saturday, Dec. 14. A pediatrician and neonatologist, he promoted maternal and child health issues in the greater Philadelphia area and beyond. He completed a fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and practiced clinical neonatology in Philadelphia for 33 years. He was on several boards of directors, such as those of the Kimmel Cancer Center, the Union League of Philadelphia and the National Perinatal Association.
