CHEFS IN CAMDEN OFFER CULINARY TIPS FOR LOCALS PLANNING TO HOST SUPER BOWL VIEWING PARTIES THIS WEEKEND

CAMDEN, N.J. (January 29, 2014) – With more than 100 million viewers worldwide expected to tune in to Super Bowl XLVIII this weekend, the pressure will be on for the teams heading to East Rutherford, N.J. and for all those hosting Game-Day viewing parties across the Delaware Valley. In preparation for the busy weekend, a group of chefs were at the Campbell’s test kitchen in Camden to present their culinary skills and give tips on a range of entertaining ideas, from crock pot dishes to dips and even Campbell favorites such as Campbell’s Chunky Soup, the Official Soup Sponsor of Super Bowl XLVIII.

The event showcased a variety of simple dishes that anyone hosting a Super Bowl viewing party can prepare, including: Mahogany Chicken Wings, Buffalo Chicken Dip, French Onion Sliders, Slow Cooker Apple Bourbon BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders (PDF recipe attached) and a Pho-style soup. Among those making the trip to the MetLife Stadium this weekend for the game will be Campbell’s own Master Chef Thomas Griffiths, Global Vice President of Campbell’s Culinary and Baking Institute (CCBI), who will be on hand at the big event where fans can enjoy game day fare with culinary flair and Campbell will serve the pho-style soup.
