Knowledge about the background of Norristown Municipal Administrator

There was public distribution of information that Crandall Jones had been fired  by the Mayor of East Point, GA  in 2011 and negotiated a substantial settlement/payout so Norristown council members had ample warnings about the incident prior to hiring, even if they didn't do any prior research of their own. But personal incompatibility is not justification for not employing anyone; withholding information, if he did do that, or council not independently gathering such information prior to offering employment that may have justified not hiring him is another issue.

At this point, digging up any negativity now is counterproductive and a waste of time but is not a reason to not stay alert..
