Montgomery County Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition Speaks At FBI Meeting
Members of the Montgomery County Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition (MCAT) served as featured guest speakers at the January 23rd meeting of the FBI’s Multi-Cultural Advisory Committee.
Rachael Yudt (MCAT Chairperson) and Don Benn (MCAT Outreach Coordinator) traveled to the William B. Green Jr. Federal Building in Philadelphia to brief an audience comprised of federal law enforcement officers, Department of Justice officials, and community leaders of Montgomery County’s efforts in identifying and combating Human Trafficking.
Both MCAT as an organization and its members as individuals were acknowledged by FBI Special Agent in Charge Edward J Hanko for a job well done.
The Montgomery County Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition is comprised of volunteers from all professions). It serves as a bridge between law enforcement, social services, the community, and the victims of human trafficking.
The “Coalition” has a wide range a speakers and age/venue appropriate educational programs available for civic, social, or educational groups within Montgomery County. MCAT also serves as a strong advocate for effective legislation to combat Human Trafficking.
