A Man Was Shot in His Home During a Possible Attempted Robbery, Say Police

A Norristown man was shot in the chest and transported to a hospital, possibly as part of an attempted robbery.

Police say that a man was allegedly shot inside of his home on the 700 block of Cherry Street in Norristown a bit before 3 a.m. on Friday, according to the Times Herald.

Early reports indicate that three men went into the victim’s home, shot him in the chest, then left.

The victim was transported to Paoli Hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition, according to Action News 6abc.
