Black Horse Tavern Shooting Victim Still in Critical Condition

Sean McGonagle, 27, was shot in the chest following an altercation at the East Norriton bar.

According to , the victim of in East Norriton is still in critical condition at the the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Sean McGonagle, 27, was shot in the chest following a dispute with a man whom witnesses say he had previously fought with.

Phillip Mullin, 26, also of East Norriton, is in custody and being charged with first degree murder, criminal attempt to commit murder and possession of a weapon, according to The Herald. Mullin is scheduled to appear before a judge on Jan. 5 for a preliminary hearing.

"There will be more charges filed at the preliminary hearing,” East Norriton Detective Sergeant Peter Mastrocolo told The Herald.

According to witnesses, the two men were seen arguing in the bar and eventually the conflict moved to the parking lot where Mullin used a Tazer on McGonagle, but to little effect. Mullin then shot McGonagle in the chest.
