The Norristown Fire Department was first called to 268 East Minor Street, according to Fire Chief Thomas M. O'Donnell.

A 17-year-old boy who jumped from the third story of one of the homes remains at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as of Sunday afternoon, say Norristown police.

The Red Cross worked with the George Washington Carver Center in Norristown to help the displaced families in Saturday, according to a center representative.

The families were taken to a local hotel.

The center will be open from 6-8 p.m. from Monday to Friday to accept donations for the families. The George Washington Carver Center is located at 249 East Jacoby Street.

More to come.
