Bridgeport Woman Sentenced for Plymouth, Conshy Burglaries

The string of burglaries happened last summer.

A Bridgeport woman was sentenced this week to 11-and-a-half to 23 months in Montgomery County Prison for her role in a rash of burglaries that took place last summer. 

According to a Times Herald story, Melinda Holder, 29, of the unit block of Rambo Street, pleaded guilty to four counts of burglary and one count of criminal conspiracy. Holder will also have to pay $10,600 in restitution.

The burglaries happened between June and August 2012, and included apartments along North Lane in Plymouth Township; and Harry and East Hector streets and Seventh and Fourth avenues in Conshohocken.

According to the story, Holder and her co-defendant, Leroy Goins, would enter the homes through and unlocked door or pry doors open with a crowbar.

Goins will be sentenced later this week.

According to court documents, Holder, 28, was also arrested and pleaded guilty to two DUIs as well as misdemeanor drug charges in March.
