The following item contains information provided by the Norristown Police Department. Arrests, where they are mentioned, do not indicate conviction.

Robbery: On July 10 at 4:58 a.m., police responded to the 700 block of Swede Street for a report of a robbery.

There police encountered the victim, who said he was walking in the area of Dekalb and East Chestnut streets when he was approached by two light-skinned black males on bikes. One of the men was wearing a red shirt, and the other was wearing a gray shirt, police said.

The man in the gray shirt reportedly pointed a cap gun at the victim and demanded all of his money. The victim then told the men he had no money, at which point they pointed the gun and fired in his general direction.

The men then fled west on the unit block of East Chestnut Street. The report adds that the men looked familiar to the victim, and he would recognize them if he saw them again.
