According to the Daily Times, a delivery man for a medical supply company is being charged with theft after allegedly taking $120 from the apartment of an elderly woman he was delivering to in Chester.
Zachary Mercer, 22, of East Norriton, reportedly admitted to Chester Township Police that he took the money on Oct. 9 while he was delivering oxygen to the victim's apartment. According to the Daily Times, Mercer provided police with a written confession.
Mercer was reportedly released and was issued a summons to appear before a district justice on theft charges.
