Multiple DUI Arrests Reported at Montco Checkpoint

One driver was also allegedly found under the influence of a controlled substance.

The Pennsylvania State Police announced that five DUI arrests were made during a sobriety checkpoint on Route 73 in Skippack Township.

The checkpoint was held from 11 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday, and 215 vehicles were stopped.

Five individuals were arrested for DUI, and one person arrested was allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance and was found in possession of a controlled substance.

The PSP announced earlier this week that sobriety checkpoints would be held over the weekend.
