A man was arrested after he allegedly created a disturbance at the transportation center.

A man was arrested at the Norristown Transportation Center on Tuesday night, after police allegedly observed him repeatedly banging his head into a wall.

Police were dispatched to transportation center at 9:48 p.m. for a report of a black male creating a disturbance when they encountered a man named Darren Lewis, who was hitting his head on a wall, according to the report. Lewis was described as being unsteady on his feet and slow to respond to questions, the report states.

Believe Lewis was under the influence of "wet," police arrested him for public drunkenness. He was transported to a cell at the police station, and he was later released upon being sober.
