Immaculata Nurses Hold Fundraiser For Fox Family

Sunday at The Limit in Blue Bell – food & drink, live entertainment and raffles, all to benefit the family of Plymouth Police Officer Bradley Fox.

On Sunday, Oct. 7, from 2 to 10 p.m, the Immaculata University Nursing Society will be holding a benefit for the family of Officer Bradley Fox at The Limit, 1486 Skippack Pike in Blue Bell.

The event will feature food and drink specials, live music, Irish dancers, bagpipers and raffles. Tickets are $20 and proceeds from the event will go directly to the Fox Family.

The IU Nursing Society is organizing the event under the leadership of president Liz Lawrence, whose uncle Joseph Lawrence is Chief of Police for Plymouth Township. Needless to say, the tragedy of Officer Fox's death took on a personal meaning for Liz.

"It’s a special thing because of Officer Fox," Liz Lawrence told The Times Herald. "We do a lot of volunteer work throughout the community but because of Chief Lawrence being my uncle and a classmate of mine was close with Officer Fox and his wife, we wanted to do something."

The event is open to all ages and wristbands will be distributed to people ages 21 and over. Tickets can be purchased at the door. For more information, contact Liz Lawrence at irishlize@gmail.com.
