Lower Providence Police Searching for Bank Robber

Authorities are searching for the man who robbed the PNC Bank on Pawlings Road this morning.

 

According to a release issued by the Lower Providence Police Department, authorities are searching for a suspect in the robbery of the PNC Bank at 1111 Pawlings Road in Lower Providence Township. The robbery occurred at 9:25 a.m., Tuesday, May 15.

Police say a white male entered the bank and handed a demand note to the teller. A yet to be determined amount of cash was given to the suspect. He then left the bank and was last observed walking towards Pawlings Road. No weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported.

The man was described as a white male, 5'10" to 6' tall, with a medium build and light colored facial hair. He was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, a red shirt, gray cargo pants and a ball cap.
