Norristown Police worked with the Montgomery County Detective Bureau to determine that, after conversing, Jubilee fired a gunshot through the front passenger window of the 2000 Chevrolet Impala that Hawkins was driving, striking the victim’s hand.

It is said that, as Hawkins tried to drive away, Jubilee fired again, through the rear passenger window, and the bullet hit Fairel in his head. An analysis of cell phone records indicated that Jubilee fled for Philadelphia after the shooting.

After the investigation it was concluded that the Fairel’s killing was a third-degree murder, which is a first-degree felony whose penalty is 20 to 40 years of imprisonment.
