Man Shot In East Norriton Bar

One man was critically injured and another is in custody after last night's shooting at the Black Horse Tavern.

Reports came in just after 10:30 p.m. last night of a shooting at the on the 2800 block of Swede Road in East Norriton. A unidentified man was allegedly shot during an argument, though reports vary as to whether he was shot in the chest or the neck.

The victim was taken by medevac to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he likely remains in critical condition.

MontcoAlerts tweeted that a SWAT team had been dispatched to the scene.

According to ABC Action News, the suspect was tracked to a home on Hillcrest Avenue a few blocks from the bar by a police K9 team and taken into custody around 4:30 a.m.
