Manhunt Still Underway in Nearby Douglass Township

Heavily armed and armored members of CMERT are scouring Douglass Township this morning after a Saturday night shooting that authorities say left two dead and three others wounded.

Montgomery County Assistant District Attorney Kevin Steele said this morning that there were two dead as a result of last night's shooting, including one child and "an adult white male."

Three others were injured, Steele said. He did not further identify them or provide any information on their conditions.

Earlier reports described a five-year-old child dead at the scene and a two-year-old child dead after transport to Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. At least one injured white male with three gunshot wounds was transported from the scene almost two hours after the shooting.
