The victim, residing on the 1800 block of Markley Street, was instructed to wire a $99 donation via Western union to “Ram Gupta” in Delhi, India, with the promise that she would be paid $10,000. The call she received had a 202 area code, suggesting it came from the D.C. area or a former resident of D.C. There's no word if this is linked to a . Norristown man Glen Hunter was arrested for alleged drug dealing from a Swede Street residence after police found a half-ounce of crack cocaine in a raid of the property Wednesday. The six officers who raided the property reportedly found Hunter and two others along with over 45 red plastic bags of suspected crack cocaine and more than a dozen 9mm bullets.
The Mercury reports that a court-appointed attorney will defend Brenden Tremayne Pierce, 19, in the alleged in July.
Pierce, who was , has a preliminary hearing set for Sept. 29 at 9 a.m. He is accused of murdering Devlin in retaliation for allegedly setting him up for a home invasion two weeks prior.
