Norristown Man Sentenced to Prison for Bomb Threat
Timothy Francis Duggan Jr. was sentenced to six to 12 months on charges he made a bomb threat to a Poconos-area bar.
According to the Times News Online, a Norristown man is facing prison for calling in bomb threats to a bar in the Lake Harmony section of the Poconos.
Twenty nine-year-old Timothy Francis Duggan Jr., of Norristown, was sentenced to six to 12 months in a county prison for phoning in a bomb threat to the Boulder View Tavern in Lake Harmony on March 24. The sentence will run concurrent with a nine to 18-month sentence Duggan received in Montgomery County earlier this month for a probation violation. He must also undergo a mental health evaluation and perform 75 hours of community service once he's released.
Duggan told authorities he called the bomb threat in to the bar to keep his pregnant girlfriend from drinking there. The tavern was evacuated after receiving the call.
