Shots Fired at Green and Jacoby Streets, Cars Damaged, No Injuries Reported

Neighbors report hearing a number of shots fired in the area Tuesday afternoon.

At the same time firefighters were responding to a house fire in the 600 block of West Main Street on Tuesday afternoon, Norristown Police were rushing to the corner of Jacoby and Green streets for a report of multiple shots fired in the area.

Officers cordoned off the corner at approximately 4 p.m. on April 2, and canvased the street and the surrounding area for evidence and spent shell casings. Several casings were visible in the street.

No victims were reported injured in the incident, but according to The Times Herald, the windows of at least five cars were damaged by the gunfire.

Norristown Police are investigating a report of shots fired at the corner of Jacoby and Green Streets in Norristown from Tuesday afternoon.

Residents in the area reported hearing up to 10 shots fired.

Police have not located a victim on the scene and are currently canvassing the area for evidence in the shots fired report.

Who they gonna blame now, lol. I hope nobody was hurt but its funny how things happen. BD where you at ha-ha or are you trying not to comment so much since its noticed you have nothing else to do. Them bullets need to be wasted on the responders.

Yeah thats a nice way to look at things u scumbag.... U sound like a real piece of shit, I think if a cop just trying to feed his family and make an honest living. Only people that know whats going on in the streets is crimals and cops so if they blame certain people or profile certain people that dont help out their community or pay taxes so be it, I'm a taxpayer and wont have a problem with them spending money on officers bringing in drug dealers and gang members to question if they wanna get to the bottom of things. Or even if they dont they shiuld just make the low lifes miserable until they get sick of being harassed and move or just realize its not worth it and do something positive with their lives. Hope they pick ur ass up and slap u around for making stupid comments like that one

I'd snitch these guys out in a second if I knew who did it. There is absolutely nothing brave or bad-a** about what they did. Some innocent person is going to get killed.
