Overturned Vehicle Catches Fire in East Norriton
The driver fled the scene on foot, according to sources.
A vehicle accident on Monday night forced the closure of Swede Road and Norris City Avenue in East Norriton.
According to PA Driver Watch, the accident occurred shortly after 9 p.m. and involved only one vehicle. The vehicle reportedly rolled over and was on fire after coming to rest on its side.
Though the make and model of the vehicle is unavailable at this time, sources are reporting that no injuries have occurred.
The driver reportedly fled the scene of the accident on foot, sources say. Swede Road was still shut down as of 10 p.m.
