Police Arrest Suspect in Dominique Devlin Murder

Brandon Pierce, 18, has been arrested and charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of 16-year-old Dominique Devlin.

Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman announced today that 18-year-old Brandon Tremayne Pierce, of the 1300 block of Arch St., has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the just a few weeks ago.

According to court records, Pierce allegedly killed Devlin, his ex-girlfriend, in retaliation for her involvement in an attempted home invasion on July 6 in which Pierce was a target. Witnesses allegedly told police that Pierce learned of Devlin's involvement in the attempted robbery and said, "that bitch has to pay."

Pierce is currently being held without bail. He'll be arraigned today at 3 p.m. in front of Judge Margaret Hunsicker in .
