Police: China Palace in Norristown Robbed at Gunpoint
Police are seeking information about the two suspects; one is believed to have also been the suspect in a Jan. 22 grocery store robbery, they say.
Norristown police are investigating an alleged gunpoint robbery at a local restaurant.
On Jan. 24 around 10:20 p.m., a man who looked to be about 25-30 years old and a female of an unknown age robbed the China Palace Restaurant at 1100 Markley St. in Norristown at gunpoint, say police.
Both suspects had semi-automatic handguns.

The male is white, about 5’11”, with a medium build. He wore a jacket that was dark colored, with a grey hood, as well as an ivory-colored knitted hat and a scarf of the same color that had multicolored stripes, say police. He wore tan work boots and light-colored blue denim jeans.

The female is about 5’5” and her age is not known. She wore a black coat that had a hood, and long with a black scarf and a white knit hat that had dark-colored stripes.
The suspects may have escaped in a white or silver Acura legend that was an older model.
