Police: Motorist Caught with Secret ‘007’ Stash of Heroin

Lower Providence Police reportedly found "007"-branded heroin in a motorist’s vehicle.

According to Lower Providence Police, 24-year-old Richard Marshall Leibried, Jr. was pulled over for erratic driving and found to be in possession of several small bags of heroin, each stamped with “007,” as well as a needle in his sock.

Leibried, of the 1700 block of Meadowview Lane in Mont Clare, Pa., was charged with driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and other related charges.

According to police, on Dec. 14, at approximately 8 p.m., Cpl. Michael Slattery was on routine patrol, traveling eastbound in the area of the 2600 block of Egypt Road when he observed a vehicle travelling west and drifting off to the shoulder before abruptly coming back onto the roadway and then drifting into the eastbound traveling lane.

Slattery conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle identified Leibried, who was reported to have difficulty producing his identification. The officer noted that an odor of alcohol was detected.

Leibried reportedly submitted to a field sobriety test, resulting in the Slattery’s judgment that Leibried was incapable of safe driving. While conducting the test, the officer reportedly observed several small, blue baggies on the floor of the vehicle.  According to the report, each baggie held, white powdery substances, which was later tested and found to be heroin.

When asked if he had any more narcotics with him, Leibried told police that he had hidden a needle in his left sock. The police report states that several more baggies, each stamped with “007” were found bundled with the needle.

A supplemental police report described the needle as a hypodermic needle, which was uncapped. This report noted that another officer observed Leibried with fresh blood stains on his right hand.

Leibried was transported to Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

Send that man to prison to suffer those horrible withdrawl symptoms..Shame on you Risa, SHAME!

His drivers license should be revoked for the rest of his life here on earth. That is just as bad or even worse than drinking behind the wheel. He doesnt deserve this privilege to step behind the wheel killing innocent people or even that device you have to blow into before your car will let you drive.

The kid needs help, "Rehab", in the county jail is not going to to help or deter this kid from stopping. Get him treatment, help him see there is another way, a better way to live. And as far as "revoking" his license for the rest of his life here on earth, well what about all of the fine, up-standing law enforcement officers that drive home buzzed or a little impaired? I guess its different for them because they have a badge, huh? Give the kid a chance before condeming him.

Maybe we should offer him Norristown amnesty so he can move in to town the rest of the garbage. We need more diversity. I'm tired of all the criminals being black and the DUI's being Mexican.

@jxjipper, so inappropiate. Are you really that afraid of people of color? Tell me without the Hispanics paying for those lawsuits all the Catholic priest cause, how would you worship? how would you get high? Who's gonna clean your mom and grandmom's behind when you put them in nursing homes? Who's gonna feed your "mentally Challenged" cousins and children? Mental Retardation occurs in non-whites less than %4 percent, that's a fact. If you have some negative to say, at least back it up.I realize your vocabulary is limited, but "gosh" you are utilizing the internet, there is a minimum of 8 billion online dictionaries and thesauruses. You sir/maam are ignorant and spreading hate only proliferates the problem. If your that unhappy where you live and who lives around you, MOVE. Most commenters are sharing ideas to instigate change, not perpetuate the problem. So as for now, think about my comments above, and "put that in your pipe and smoke it"! Do you even pay taxes? From the way you speak, my taxpaying dollars are more than likely paying for your healthcare, rent, utilities, etc. Get a grip and stop biting the hands that feed you- LITERALLY! GOD Bless.
