Police Pursue Driver Who Almost Hit Marked Police Vehicle, Say Authorities

Norristown police say that they pursued vehicle that almost hit a police vehicle in Norristown, then evaded law enforcement and drove into Plymouth township.

Norristown police tried to detain a vehicle that had almost hit a marked police vehicle in Norristown on Oct. 4, according to police.

The driver would not stop after the near-collision and drove into Plymouth township, say police. According to Norristown police, they have a no-pursuit policy and so they followed the vehicle for some blocks, informed Plymouth police of the situation, and stopped their chase.
