Police Searching for Suspect in West Marshall Street Shooting

At least one victim was reported injured and flown by medevac to an undisclosed hospital.

Reports of a shooting on the 1100 block of West Marshall Street came in shortly after 10:30 p.m. Friday night, June 8. According to @MontcoAlerts (a source on Twitter), at least one victim is reported injured and was flown by medevac for treatment at an undisclosed hospital. 

According to The Times Herald, police recovered six shell casings from the scene of the crime and are searching for the suspect reportedly driving a white Cadillac with tinted windows. Police reportedly pursued the vehicle to the 500 block of Noble Street but have yet to locate the suspected shooter.

Police are reportedly searching for a black male, possibly between the ages of 18 and 22 years old, described as approximately 5'8" to 5'10", with tattooed arms and wearing a white tee-shirt and red Phillies baseball cap.

Initially, the Herald mistakenly reported the shooting as having occurred on East Marshall Street, but police and neighbors have confirmed that the correct location of the crime scene is in the 1100 block West Marshall Street.
