Seamus Casey, the same blowhard who goes on tangents in forums blasting anyone who is not of the white race, who also hates homosexuals? While I appreciate the offer, I would rather get advice from a crack-whore on Main Street before listening to anything you have to say.

Norristown is seriously turning into a ghetto where our lives are really at risk. The cops don't even live here anymore!

Lisa, part of the problem is Norristown's corrupt city council who continues to squander our tax dollars, appropriating funds towards senseless construction projects that benefit their fellow associates. Our City has less police than it had in the 1970's, even though the crime has more than doubled. How can we expect the police to do their job with a lack of resources? And since when is it the NPD's job to parent?! Maybe some of these deadbeat parents should start doing their part to keep their kids in line! Norristown High School is filled with Mexican gangs (MS-13), and nothing is being done about it (again) due to a lack of resources. Bottom line is the police are doing all they can with the resources they're given. It's only a matter of time before we are forced to declare a state of emergency. I urge local residents to express their frustration with Council's handling of tax dollars. I urge residents to demand bigger budgets to help Norristown fight crime. Otherwise, upstanding residents (like myself) are outta here! And I'm bringing my 10k in tax payments with me!

agree stop paying to put trees up and pay for more cops..........and dident they build state troopers in the state hospital.........how come i dont see them patrolling?????? this town needs to stop paying 8 counsel men and get a real mayor......and instead of 8 counsel hire 7 cops and one mayor.......

Dennis, you hit the nail on the head!!!! 8 councilwo/men who squander our tax dollars into the pockets of associates in the form of lucrative construction/project contract. And a Mayor would be the best thing for Norristown. Hopefully a Mayor who steps in and (a) stops slumlord'ing, (b) cracks down on illegal immigration, (c) stops wasting money on trees, (c) puts more blue out on the streets to fight senseless crimes!
