Police: Woman Says Home Robbery Accompanied by Suspicious Phone Calls

The woman is missing televisions and a PlayStation III.

After a slew of suspicious phone calls, a woman returned home to find some of her property missing, police say.

On Jan. 5 around 7:20 p.m., a Norristown police officer went to the 300 block of East Penn Street for a burglary report. The resident and alleged victim told the officer that she had left at 1:00 p.m. and, when she returned around 6:30 p.m., she found items missing and the area disheveled, according to a Norristown police report.

She told police that her 50” flat screen television was missing, as well as her 42” flat screen television. She found kitchen drawers open, and the back door and its screen door were open, according to the report.

While in front of an officer the victim saw that her PlayStation III game system was missing. Found on scene were two broken pieces of what could possibly be parts of one of the stolen televisions.

The victim told police that she has a specific person in mind due to a pattern of his phone calls to her during that day. Norristown police indicated in the report that they found footprints in the snow.
