Saturday Morning Fire Damages Building on Main Street

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.

A building along the 100 block of West Main Street was damaged during a fire on Saturday morning.

Firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 6:10 a.m., where they encountered heavy smoke coming from the roof of the building. Crews quickly cut through the roof of the building and had the fire under control in 30 minutes, according to 6ABC.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
