WANTED: Plymouth PD Looking for Armed Robber

The armed robber held up a Ridge Pike business last Thursday.

The Plymouth Township Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place on Thursday, Jan. 10 at approximately 5:45 a.m. The robbery occurred at a business on the 200 block of Diamond Avenue, between Ridge Pike and Conshohocken Road.

An employee of the business was returning to his vehicle when the suspect reportedly held a semi-automatic weapon to his head and asked where the safe was. When the victim indicated that there was no safe, the suspect took the victim’s cash. 

The suspect is described as medium to dark-skinned black male in his twenties, approximately 5’11” tall, with a medium build. The man was wearing a black knit cap and a dark blue or black jacket.

The suspect approached and left on foot. PTPD is also investigating two armed robberies at the American Gasoline Station, which is located about a ½ block away from this robbery that occurred last week.
