Three Bikes Were Reported Missing Recently, Say Police

Two men told police that they were missing a total of three bikes from Norristown residences, according to a police report.

Two men reported to police that their bikes were missing from Norristown residences within about a day of each other, according to Norristown police reports.

Sept. 28: The first man told police that that the last time he saw his two bikes was when they were parked in his open garage on the 1500 block of Juniper Street around 11:30 a.m. hours, say police. He saw that they were missing about 12:14 p.m., according to a report. He told police that the first bike was a grey ‘Trek’ 7.4 road bike, and the second, a ‘Giant’ road bike that is yellow and white, with a rack on the back, say police. 

Sept. 29: Police went to the 900 block of Selma Street to see about a reported bike theft around 10 p.m., according to the report. A man told police that he put his bicycle on his front porch and then went to have dinner around 6 p.m; about 15 minutes later he saw that the bike was missing from the porch, say police. The man told police that he saw a lone Mongoose mountain bike across the street from his residence and that he thinks it belongs to the person who took his own bike, according to a report.  Police confiscated the Mongoose bike for evidence, say police.
