Vehicle Goes Into River in Upper Merion, Police Say

First responders recovered a vehicle from the river in Upper Merion, whose driver was without injury.

A vehicle was found in the river on River Road at the turnpike overpass in Upper Merion Friday evening around 7:40 p.m., according to personnel from the Lafayette Ambulance & Rescue Squad.

Upper Merion police confirmed that the vehicle did go into the river but no one was injured. The driver of the vehicle was not taken to a hospital, said Lafayette Ambulance.

The recovery of the vehicle went well, with local fire departments and towing companies on the scene, according to Lafayette Ambulance.
