The incident was reported to Norristown police on Nov. 13 around 1:40 a.m., where it was said that three men took some role in approaching a Norristown man, hitting his head, robbing him, holding his family at gunpoint, and more.

The first suspect is Demetric Pullen aka ‘Rico,’ a 21-year-old Hispanic man who is about 5’6” and 165 pounds, according to police. Pullen has earlier convictions for receiving stolen property and theft from a motor vehicle, say police.

The report was made regarding the victim’s residence on the 200 Block of Pearl Street. The three men were said to have gone to the man while he was in his vehicle, where he was hit on his head with a handgun, and robbed, say police.

One of the men pointed a gun at him while the other two took the victim’s house keys, entered his home, held the victim’s family at gunpoint and stole multiple electronics. The victim’s 20-year-old son struggled with one of the men, and was subsequently shot in the upper part of his right arm, say police.

The two men left the residence. The three men then took the first victim and forced him to drive across Norristown. The victim slammed on the brakes around the zero block of Jacoby Street  and ran away on foot. He later returned to the vehicle, which was empty of passengers.

The victim who was shot inside of the home was taken to Paoli Hospital, where he was released after surgery.

Police are investigating to determine the third man’s identity.
