Norristown borough has extended the period of time to begin their search for a new chief of police so they can get public feedback as to what kind of chief they want.

We dont have cops in the heavily populated crime areas, what are my taxes going to?

@delena williams...last I checked MOST of Norristown is heavily populated with crime...in what one location do you expect the police to sit? I'm pretty sure your tax dollars are not enough to afford extra police presence in specific areas of town, because then every resident/tax payer is gonna want the police on their block claiming their block is also heavily populated with crime...ijs

I'm surprised camera's wasn't installed outside the newly renovated apartments they built. I figure a nice setup like that would have them for the tenants safety.
