Philadelphia Police have confirmed the West Norriton of a police officer in the Olney section of Philadelphia on Tuesday night, is still at large.
Authorities from Philadelphia, West Norriton, Norristown and Lower Providence through the streets of West Norriton and Norristown late Tuesday night without result.
Police have yet to release a photo of Stegall, but authorities describe him as a 27-year-old black male with a light complexion, 6’2” tall and weighing 170 lbs. He is also reportedly covered in tattoos on his chest, shoulders, arms and lower back. Stegall was last seen wearing a white tank top and dark-colored cargo shorts.
Chief Robert Adams confirmed that local authorities are still looking for Stegall, but it is believed he has left the area. Chief Russell Bono confrimed that Philadelphia police are currently not actively searching in our area for Stegall, but that Norristown officers have photos of Stegall and are keeping alert during their routine patrols.
"Obvioulsy, if we had a tip that he was at a certain location I would ramp everything up," said Bono.
