Woman Struck by Vehicle at Main and Barbadoes Tuesday Night
The victim was reportedly conscious at the scene, and was later taken to the hospital via ambulance.
A woman was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Main and Barbadoes streets on Tuesday night.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene shortly after 8:30 p.m., where they found a woman laying in the street after being struck by a vehicle that was driven by an elderly woman. According to witnesses, the victim was conscious and alert at the scene.
The victim was transported from the scene via ambulance at 9:06 p.m. to a local hospital. Her current condition and the extent of her injuries is unknown at this time.
