After six women were accused of damaging a black Chevrolet with bricks, a damaged, black Chevrolet allegedly hit and dragged a woman.

After receiving a call about six women allegedly damaging a black Chevrolet with bricks, police soon received a call about a damaged, black Chevrolet allegedly hitting and dragging a woman walking in Norristown, say police.

On Nov. 11 around 8:20 p.m. an officer was sent to the 700 block of Astor Street to respond to a call about a disturbance outside on that block, according to a Norristown police report. The officer arrived and spoke to the caller, who said that six African American women had been outside of a home, using bricks and a stick to smash a black Chevrolet.

According to the caller, the women then fled on Astor Street, going north on foot, and east on West Elm Street to ward Markley Street. The caller told police that the person who owned the vehicle came out of a residence and got into the vehicle, then drove off, according to the report.

At 8:40 p.m., police were sent to Wayne Avenue and Markley Street to see about a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle, which had supposedly fled the scene. An officer spoke to a witness, who told him that a black vehicle had just hit the victim and left quickly, say police.

The person who called about the incident said that she had been going north on Markley Street when a black Chevrolet going east on West Elm Street went through a red light at West Elm Street and Markley Street, travelling quickly, according to the report. The caller said that the black vehicle tried to back up, but then the caller drove up behind the woman driving to hinder the vehicle. The caller said that the black Chevrolet then went north, and, after that, eastward on West Spruce Street.

The victim could not speak to police. Plymouth Ambulance arrived to assist the victim, whose nose was bleeding, and who said that her back hurt. EMS took her to Paoli Hospital, say police.

A witness said that she and the victim had been walking on Markley Street by Wayne Avenue when a black Chevrolet hit the victim, who was her friend. The witness told police that the driver was Keonna Little, and that she and the victim have been having issues with Little through the summer, according to the report.

Police found a black Chevrolet Malibu, registered to Keonna Cox, in a lot behind the 1000 block of Swede Street. The windshield was smashed, and there had been damage cased by bricks, say police. Police tried to contact Cox but were unable; the vehicle was towed for evidence.

At 9:17 p.m. Cox came to the police station to tell police that she had hit a pedestrian on Markley Street, saying that an African American woman who she did not know ran in front of her vehicle, according to the report. Cox told police that she had hit the woman, who got up and ran off. Cox said that she had been scared, and, since the woman ran away, Cox drove off, say police.
