2013 Residential Parking Permits Available Starting Today
Norristown residents must bring a driver's license and registration and insurance info for cars they wish to get permits for.
According to the Municipality of Norristown, the 2013 residential zone parking permits are available starting today for Zones A, B & C with the exception of the following blocks in Zone A:
- 1300 & 1400 blocks of Markley Street
- 1200 block Swede Street
- 1300 & 1400 blocks of Juniper Street
- 00 block of East Basin Street
- 00 block of West Basin Street
- 100 & 200 blocks of West Wood Street
- 100 & 200 blocks of West Fornance Street
- 00 to 300 blocks of West Freedley Street
- 1400 & 1500 blocks of Powell Street
- 1200 to 1400 blocks of Pine Street
- 1200 to 1400 blocks of Locust Street
Residents can apply for parking permits at the Norristown Police Department starting today. Permits will be available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Residents must bring a driver’s license and registration and insurance information for the vehicle or vehicles they wish to obtain permits for.
