28 Deer Culled from Norristown Farm Park in County-Sponsored Hunt

The county held a controlled hunt on Wednesday in an effort to control the local deer population.

According to Phillyburbs.com, hunters who participated in Montgomery County's controlled deer hunt at the Norristown Farm Park on Wednesday, January 23, killed a total of 28 deer including 13 antler-less bucks and 15 doe.

Of the 38 hunters who won the lottery to participate, only 28 showed. The hunt reportedly went well with no accidents reported and no protesters.
