I just bet they are being tightlipped just like everything else. They know exactly who they are placing in the position and trust me we won't be surprised. The only thing council worries about is their financial gain from all of this. Same way they knew Gene was going to be interim chief and hopes it dies down and everyone will just foregt. Nope! We need a Mayor in our town and a whole new Council and police department with exceptions to the rookies. Some of them are sooooo sweet especially officer skinny, lol. I don't know his name but I know he is skinny and sweet. They don't need to be tainted by the demons they work with.

@smh- if you want to clean up Norristown you had better start with taking apart the whole Democratic Party. Start with MCDC- that is where the money comes from... Everyone on council got money from MCDC at some point so none of their hands are clean. Even Gene's friends Linda and Marlon are not innocent, ask them about big fat checks for their re-election campaigns. Be careful who you side with.

All I can say is none of the previous Council members except maybe Ed Turner or Myla Hayes should even be considered.

would like to take a shot at the position. i ran a non-profit for 6 years and would like to rebuild Norristown back to what is was. We need to work with local businesses and neighborhoods to affect change. We can clone several programs and create youth centers for education. Computer Education to youth, Taxes, the crime rate, I live in Norristown and believe in its reform. I stand for a change and Norristown needs to grow and prosper as a community.
