Brady won the November election with 82.5% of the vote.

Olivia Brady, formerly the Norristown Municipal Council president for part of her earlier 2000-05 council tenure, was sworn in as a two-year term Councilmember at the Council’s Tuesday night meeting by local Magistrate Judge Margaret Hunsicker with Brady’s husband Craig standing by.

Brady swore to uphold the home rule charter of the municipality of Norristown and the laws of Pennsylvania, among other duties. In November, she had won 82.5% percent of the vote, according to the Montgomery county count.

She stayed for the meeting in her new seat and dove in, asking questions during the meeting.
