Norristown's Akbar Hossain Earns White House Post

The list of new White House interns includes a familiar name.

There are paper-pushing internships. There are amazing, career-boosting internships. Then there are White House internships.

Akbar Hossain of Norristown, is going to find out just how different that is this summer.

You may remember Hossain for a previous post on Norristown Patch highlighting a feature Philly.com did on Hossain when he was . Well, the White House announced his participation in their 2012 internship program this week. 

White House interns work in one of several departments, from the Office of the Chief of Staff to the Office of the White House Counsel.
