Residents Turn Out to Hear Plans for Markley Street Improvement Project

PennDOT hosted a public information meeting at Eisenhower Middle School on Thursday night.

According to The Times Herald, a number of residents and municipal officials turned out Thursday night at Eisenhower Middle School to hear PennDOT's plans for the Markley Street Improvement Project. Reconstruction on the busy road is scheduled to begin this spring.

Parking, bus routes changes, new sidewalks and the effects of the construction on local businesses were just some of the issues reportedly raised by those attending the meeting.
