Signs The Shutdown's Over

National Park Service unlocks the gates and rolls out the welcome sign at Valley Forge.

The paths, trailheads, parking lots and public areas of Valley Forge National Historic Park are once again open to the public.

The portable sign board flashed two messages: "welcome back" and "we missed you!"
