Please someone save Little Dusty!

About a week ago, I was walking home and saw a tiny little cat yowling and begging for attention (or most likely food). It was hanging around an apartment building catty-corner (heh) to where I live and I asked the people living there if this was their cat.

They responded, "sorta".
See, they often fed her* when she came by, and named her Dusty. My heart broke. I wish I could scoop her in and take her to my home, however I had a cat who had chosen me a few months before. Also was the fact that she would definately need a lot of care before being placed in a fur-ever home and neither I nor my neighbors had those resources.

I am aware of local animal shelters and orgs, but I also know that they can be overcrowded and not  be able to take every stray, or worse they would probably end up euthanizing her. I would rather not have that happen.

For a street cat, she was not all that feral, the neighbors said that she was friendly and would even let you pick her up! She's such a tiny little thing, its amazing she wasnt preyed upon by larger animals by now.

I tried to put it out of my mind, and figured I wouldnt see her again, but today - I did. So I took a few photos in the hope that someone would see her around the West End (near main and george usually) and either find a good place that can take her or at least take her in if they could. Even at the very least, alert TNR (trap, neuter, release) programs to help catch her and give her feral cat care to keep her from having litters.

Please comment if you know if you can help little Dusty!

So, yes, I am a novice crazy cat lady. But how could I resist?

(* i dont know what sex the cat is, but it looks like a she so thats what i'm going with*)
