Comcast and ACLAMO of Montgomery County will present Internet Safety & Children, a forum for parents, guardians and children to share “news you can use” and assist in helping children safely navigate the Net. Designed to inform and educate parents about the potential threats and dangers associated with children’s Internet use, experts, including Montgomery County assistant DA Kevin Steele, will demonstrate real-life examples of online dangers and share helpful tips and practical steps to keep families safe online and avoid becoming victims of fraud, identity theft or cybercrime.
The event is open to parents, guardians and children ages five to 13.
ACLAMO is the only full-spectrum, charitable, non-profit organization that provides educational, health, economic, social and cultural opportunities to low-income individuals and families in Montgomery County, especially those of Spanish-speaking heritage.
