Montco OIC Hosting College Tour Next Week

The Montgomery County Opportunities-Industrialization Center (OIC) is hosting its annual college tour this Sunday, April 1 through Wednesday, April, 4. Area high school students are invited to join fellow classmates over the spring break to visit the southern campuses of Hampton University and Norfok State University and meet the players from the schools' men's and women's NCAA teams up close and personal. 

Additional stops include Virginia State, Old Dominion University, University of Maryland, Bowie State, Morgan State and Delaware State. 

Students should bring applications and recommendation letters for admission consideration. Luxury accommodations and transportation will be provided as students experience the campuses, meet the student body and take part in campus activities. 

The bus will be leaving from the OIC offices at 1101 Arch Street. There are still five spots left. Round trip price includes transportation and sleeping quarters, dining, entertainment and a stop in Washington DC as well.
