This is not the first time that Gotwals has achieved this honor. Gotwals was previously named a 2008/09 Title-I Distinguished School and represented Pennsylvania at the 2010 national conference in Washington, DC.
The secret to Gotwal’s success is its laser like focus on student achievement. Such a focus on achievement leads to curriculum choices – emphasizing the core skills of reading, writing, and mathematics in order to improve student opportunities for success in a wide variety of other academic endeavors.
