Sign-Ups for Norristown Little League Continue Through January

It may be cold outside, but plans are in the works for the 2013 season of Norristown Little League. There are a number of divisions and even softball teams forming, so there's something for every age and skill level.

Sign-up online at www.norristownlittleleague.com or on the following dates and times at the noted location: 

• Saturday, Jan. 19; 10 a.m.-noon at Elmwood Park Bandshell
• Tuesday, Jan. 22; 6:15-7:15 p.m. at Eisenhower Middle School Gym
• Wednesday, Jan. 23; 6:15-7:15 p.m. at Eisenhower Middle School Gym
• Thursday, Jan. 24; 6:15-7:15 p.m. at Eisenhower Middle School Gym
• Saturday, Jan. 26; 10 a.m.-noon at Elmwood Park Bandshell

Sign-ups for most divisions come with raffle tickets for a $250 cash prize on Opening Day. Spots are available for the following Norristown Little League divisons:

BASEBALL

• Tee Ball (ages 4&5) – $50 (No raffle tickets.)
• Instructional (ages 6-8) – $100 (5 raffle tickets.)
• Minors (ages 8-10) – $100 (5 raffle tickets.)
• Majors (ages 10-12) – $100 (5 raffle tickets.)
• Junior Rec. (ages 13-14) – $150 (Includes Norristown Junior Legion Registration and 5 raffle tickets.)
• Senior Rec. (ages 15-19) – $150(Includes Norristown Senior Legion Registration and 5 raffle tickets)

SOFTBALL

• Instructional (ages 6-8) – $75 (3 raffle tickets.)
• Minors (ages 8-10) – $75 (3 raffle tickets.)
• Majors (ages 10-12)– $75 (3 raffle tickets.)
• Junior Rec. (ages 13-14) – $100 (5 raffle tickets.)
• Senior Rec. (ages 15-19) –  $100 (5 raffle tickets.)

Additional children in a family is $25 for all divisions except Juniors and Seniors. A $10 late fee will be charged for registrations after March 1. The season will be on us soon, so sign up now.
